Browser and device support

The CISA tools are tested on the current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop, and Safari on iOS. Anything newer than about two years old in those families should be fine; older browsers may work but aren't tested.

Requirements: JavaScript enabled, and browser local storage available (used only for accessibility preferences and licence tokens). The analysis tools are designed for desktop or laptop screens; the learning guide reads comfortably on phones and tablets. No plug-ins, no installs, no account for the free tools.

Working offline: once a tool page has loaded you can keep working through connection drops; licensed tools need to reach the licence service at least once every seven days.
