About QualDeep Insights
QualDeep Insights empowers researchers, students, and practitioners to engage confidently with qualitative research — through privacy-first, client-side digital tools, interactive learning resources, and bespoke tool development. The tools grew out of research-methods teaching and doctoral supervision at the University of Manchester, and three commitments have held from the first line of code: always vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript; everything client-side, so transcripts never travel to a server; and accessibility as a founding constraint rather than a retrofit.

The qualitative analysis tools
The CISA suite operationalises Critical Incident Semantic Analysis: CISA NARRATIVE performs the full analysis; the CISA Template Enhancer builds bespoke coding frameworks from your own coded material; CISA TranscriptReady prepares transcripts in the one format every tool accepts. Alongside them, the QualDeep Open Coder and Explorer supports classic open coding and Boolean exploration of any transcript — free to every researcher, no account required. § 03 · Learning
The Research Methods Interactive Learning WebApps
The Research Methods Interactive Learning WebApps are browser-based companions for learning research methods — research literacy and design, qualitative analysis, and quantitative analysis for small studies — built on the same privacy-first, client-side principles as the analysis tools.

About the developer
Pauline Prevett is a Reader in Education at the University of Manchester, where she leads PhD research training in the School of Environment, Education and Development and teaches research methods on several postgraduate programmes. Her research focuses on students' financial identity and financial self-efficacy, and on qualitative and mixed methods research methodology.
